Cabin 10254 · Wonder of the Seas
Deck 10 · Royal Caribbean International
Cabin 10254 is a Junior Suite on Wonder of the Seas, 250 to 287 square feet plus a private balcony of 65 to 161 square feet. There is a double sofa bed.
Cabin 10254 is a Junior Suite on Deck 10 of Wonder of the Seas, and it sits midship. You are near the middle of the hull, where the ship does the least moving. In rough water that matters more than most people expect. We score it 8 out of 10 for steadiness.
It is 7 cabins along the corridor to the aft lift bank, port. Close enough to be useful, far enough that it should not keep you awake. Wonder of the Seas carries four lift banks on most decks, forward and aft, port and starboard. Each is a glass fronted lobby with call buttons, deck buttons and a landing that doubles as a meeting point. The forward banks serve the theatre and the suite decks, the aft banks serve the dining rooms and the Boardwalk. Worth knowing: the cars themselves are quiet. The lobby is not. What a cabin beside a lift bank actually hears is people waiting, talking and calling to each other, and it peaks at dinner sittings and again after the late show. Two or three cabins along the corridor is. Quiet comes out at 8 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about it scores 9 out of 10, so almost everything is a short walk.
Counting from the bow, it is the 200th cabin position of 280 along Deck 10.
A Junior Suite gives you 250-287 square feet. The balcony adds another 65-161 on top of that. At suite level you are buying more than square feet. Suites almost always carry priority boarding and priority disembarkation, and the higher grades on most lines add a restaurant, a lounge or a sun deck of their own. Junior and entry level suites often get none of that, so it is worth checking what this particular grade includes rather than assuming the whole list comes with the word.
Grade changes what you earn here, which is easy to miss. Crown and Anchor pays one cruise point a night in a standard room and two a night in a suite, so a seven night sailing out of this cabin banks fourteen points rather than seven. Sail it on your own on a double occupancy fare and it is three a night, twenty one for the week. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.
Against the rest of the ship it is quieter than 93 per cent of the 2,913 cabins on board, steadier in a swell than 86 per cent of them and better placed for getting around than 97 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers, travellers prone to seasickness and families running back to the cabin several times a day.
Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
