Cabin 11181 · Odyssey of the Seas

Cabin 11181 is an Interior (category V) on Odyssey of the Seas, 136 square feet.

Cabin 11181 is an Interior on Deck 11 of Odyssey of the Seas, forward of midship. You will feel a bit more motion than a midship cabin. Nothing dramatic. We score it 8 out of 10 for steadiness.

You are 7 cabins from the forward lift bank, port. Close enough to be useful, far enough that it should not keep you awake. Odyssey runs four lift banks on most decks, a port and starboard pair forward and another pair aft. Conventional lifts with call buttons in the lobby and deck buttons in the car. Worth knowing: the cars are quiet, the lobby is not. A cabin beside one hears doors, waiting conversation and footfall in the corridor, heaviest when a show lets out and after the late dinner seating. Quiet comes out at 6 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about, 7 out of 10.

Of the 180 cabin positions on Deck 11, this is the 59th from forward. You share Deck 11 with Adventure Ocean. There are 278 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a long walk end to end.

The Interior grade runs 136 square feet. No window, which makes it the darkest and cheapest room on board and, for a lot of people, the best sleep they get all week. If waking to daylight matters to you, an ocean view is the smallest step up.

Worth knowing before you book: Crown and Anchor pays one cruise point a night at this grade. A suite pays two, and so does sailing solo on a double occupancy fare, which is the cheaper of the two routes if you are travelling alone anyway. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is steadier in a swell than 89 per cent of them. It suits travellers prone to seasickness. It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes.
