Cabin 11212 · Carnival Dream

Cabin 11212 is a Cloud 9 Spa Interior (category 4S1) on Carnival Dream, 158 to 185 square feet.

Cabin 11212 is a Cloud 9 Spa Interior on Deck 11, the Panorama deck, of Carnival Dream, far forward. You are at the top of the passenger decks, so the pools and the open air are just up the stairs, and you feel the ship move more than anyone below you. You are well out towards the end of the hull, which is where pitching is felt hardest. Right up in the bow, a head sea can send a shudder through the hull that midship guests never feel at all. We score it 5 out of 10 for steadiness.

We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 2 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Of the 45 cabin positions on Deck 11, this is the 8th from forward.

The Cloud 9 Spa Interior grade runs 158-185 square feet. No window, which makes it the darkest and cheapest room on board and, for a lot of people, the best sleep they get all week. If waking to daylight matters to you, an ocean view is the smallest step up.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.
