Cabin 11442 is an Interior with Virtual Balcony on Utopia of the Seas, 150 to 172 square feet.

Cabin 11442 is an Interior with Virtual Balcony on Deck 11 of Utopia of the Seas. You are far forward. Out at this end you feel the sea. In rough water the movement here is noticeably stronger. Right up in the bow, a head sea can send a shudder through the hull that midship guests never feel at all. We score it 6 out of 10 for steadiness.

Nothing sits close by: it is 17 cabins to the forward lift bank, the nearest thing of its kind. That buys you quiet. It also means a proper walk with your bags on embarkation day. Utopia of the Seas letters two lift banks on each deck, one forward and one aft, each a glass fronted lobby serving both sides of the ship. The forward bank reaches the theatre and the suite decks, the aft bank the dining rooms, the Boardwalk and the pool deck above. Worth knowing: the cars themselves are quiet. The lobby is not. What a cabin beside a lift bank actually hears is people waiting, talking and calling to each other, and it peaks at dinner sittings and again after the late show. Two or three cabins along the corridor is. We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 2 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Counting from the bow, it is the 54th cabin position of 275 along Deck 11. Deck 11 also has Giovanni's Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar on it. There are 396 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a long walk end to end.

An Interior with Virtual Balcony gives you 150-172 square feet. No window, which makes it the darkest and cheapest room on board and, for a lot of people, the best sleep they get all week. If waking to daylight matters to you, an ocean view is the smallest step up.

Worth knowing before you book: Crown and Anchor pays one cruise point a night at this grade. A suite pays two, and so does sailing solo on a double occupancy fare, which is the cheaper of the two routes if you are travelling alone anyway. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
