Cabin 12132 · Quantum of the Seas
Deck 12 · Royal Caribbean International
Cabin 12132 is an Ocean View Balcony on Quantum of the Seas, 182 to 198 square feet plus a private balcony of 42 to 55 square feet.
Cabin 12132 is an Ocean View Balcony on Deck 12 of Quantum of the Seas, far forward. You are at the top of the passenger decks, so the pools and the open air are just up the stairs, and you feel the ship move more than anyone below you. You are well out towards the end of the hull, which is where pitching is felt hardest. Right up in the bow, a head sea can send a shudder through the hull that midship guests never feel at all. We score it 4 out of 10 for steadiness.
You are right beside Adventure Ocean, some 0 cabins along the corridor. Handy, though worth knowing about if you sleep lightly. The upper level of the kids complex, forward on deck 12. Sessions run 9 to 12, 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 on sea days, with late night party zone babysitting from 10pm to 2am. Worth knowing: same story as the level below. The noise is a hundred children moving through a corridor at changeover, not the rooms themselves. Quiet scores 4 out of 10. There is enough going on nearby that a light sleeper should think about it. For getting about, 6 out of 10.
Counting from the bow, it is the 5th cabin position of 136 along Deck 12. Deck 12 also has Concierge Club and Adventure Ocean on it. There are 235 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a fairly ordinary length.
An Ocean View Balcony gives you 182-198 square feet. The balcony adds another 42-55 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.
Worth knowing before you book: Crown and Anchor pays one cruise point a night at this grade. A suite pays two, and so does sailing solo on a double occupancy fare, which is the cheaper of the two routes if you are travelling alone anyway. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.
Against the rest of the ship it is noisier than three quarters of the 2,099 cabins on board and livelier in a swell than most of them. It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes and anyone who feels motion badly.
Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
