Cabin 12146 · Ovation of the Seas

Cabin 12146 is an Ocean View Balcony on Ovation of the Seas, 182 to 198 square feet plus a private balcony of 42 to 55 square feet.

Cabin 12146 is an Ocean View Balcony on Deck 12 of Ovation of the Seas, and it sits far forward. This is a long way from the pivot, so a swell reaches you before it reaches anyone midship. We score it 6 out of 10 for steadiness.

It is 7 cabins along the corridor to Adventure Ocean. Close enough to be useful, far enough that it should not keep you awake. The upper level of the kids complex, forward on deck 12. Sessions run 9 to 12, 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 on sea days, with late night party zone babysitting from 10pm to 2am. Worth knowing: same story as the level below. The noise is a hundred children moving through a corridor at changeover, not the rooms themselves. Quiet comes out at 6 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about, 6 out of 10.

Counting from the bow, it is the 12th cabin position of 138 along Deck 12. Deck 12 also has Adventure Ocean on it. There are 237 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a fairly ordinary length.

An Ocean View Balcony gives you 182-198 square feet. The balcony adds another 42-55 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Worth knowing before you book: Crown and Anchor pays one cruise point a night at this grade. A suite pays two, and so does sailing solo on a double occupancy fare, which is the cheaper of the two routes if you are travelling alone anyway. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes.
