Cabin 12221 · Carnival Horizon

Cabin 12221 is a Cloud 9 Spa Interior (category 4S1) on Carnival Horizon, 158 to 185 square feet.

Cabin 12221 is a Cloud 9 Spa Interior on Deck 12 of Carnival Horizon, and it sits forward of midship. You will feel a bit more motion than a midship cabin. Nothing dramatic. We score it 7 out of 10 for steadiness.

We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 4 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Of the 10 cabin positions on Deck 12, this is the 10th from forward. That puts you right at the aft end of the run, where the corridor stops and the footfall dies away.

The Cloud 9 Spa Interior grade runs 158-185 square feet. No window, which makes it the darkest and cheapest room on board and, for a lot of people, the best sleep they get all week. If waking to daylight matters to you, an ocean view is the smallest step up.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board and better placed for getting around than 94 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.
