Cabin 12581 is a Central Park View Balcony on Oasis of the Seas, 182 to 193 square feet plus a private balcony of 50 to 52 square feet.

Cabin 12581 is a Central Park View Balcony on Deck 12 of Oasis of the Seas, far forward. Out at this end you feel the sea. In rough water the movement here is noticeably stronger. We score it 6 out of 10 for steadiness.

You are 5 cabins from the forward lift bank, starboard. Close enough to be useful, far enough that it should not keep you awake. Oasis of the Seas carries four lift banks on most decks, forward and aft, port and starboard. Each is a glass fronted lobby with call buttons, deck buttons and a landing that doubles as a meeting point. The forward banks serve the theatre and the suite decks, the aft banks serve the dining rooms and the Boardwalk. Worth knowing: the cars themselves are quiet. The lobby is not. What a cabin beside a lift bank actually hears is people waiting, talking and calling to each other, and it peaks at dinner sittings and again after the late show. Two or three cabins along the corridor is. Quiet scores 5 out of 10. There is enough going on nearby that a light sleeper should think about it. For getting about it scores 9 out of 10, so almost everything is a short walk.

Of the 187 cabin positions on Deck 12, this is the 43rd from forward. You share Deck 12 with Card Room. There are 326 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a long walk end to end.

The Central Park View Balcony grade runs 182-193 square feet. The balcony adds another 50-52 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Worth knowing before you book: Crown and Anchor pays one cruise point a night at this grade. A suite pays two, and so does sailing solo on a double occupancy fare, which is the cheaper of the two routes if you are travelling alone anyway. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is noisier than three quarters of the 2,836 cabins on board and better placed for getting around than 96 per cent of them. It suits families running back to the cabin several times a day. It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
