Cabin 12602 · Ovation of the Seas

Cabin 12602 is an Ocean View Balcony on Ovation of the Seas, 182 to 198 square feet plus a private balcony of 42 to 55 square feet.

Cabin 12602 is an Ocean View Balcony on Deck 12 of Ovation of the Seas, and it sits midship. You are near the middle of the hull, where the ship does the least moving. In rough water that matters more than most people expect. We score it 8 out of 10 for steadiness.

Whirlpool sits two decks up, roughly 1 cabin along the ship from you. A deck between you takes most of the noise out of it, and it is a short trip when you want it. Quiet scores 4 out of 10. There is enough going on nearby that a light sleeper should think about it. For getting about, 5 out of 10.

Of the 138 cabin positions on Deck 12, this is the 44th from forward. You share Deck 12 with Adventure Ocean. There are 237 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a fairly ordinary length.

The Ocean View Balcony grade runs 182-198 square feet. The balcony adds another 42-55 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

On loyalty, this is a standard grade, so Crown and Anchor credits its base one cruise point a night. There are exactly two ways to double that: move up to a suite, or sail on your own on a double occupancy fare. Either pays two a night, and doing both pays three. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is noisier than three quarters of the 2,142 cabins on board and steadier in a swell than 85 per cent of them. It suits travellers prone to seasickness. It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes.
