Cabin 12686 · Odyssey of the Seas

Cabin 12686 is an Ocean View Balcony on Odyssey of the Seas, 182 to 198 square feet plus a private balcony of 42 to 55 square feet.

Cabin 12686 is an Ocean View Balcony on Deck 12 of Odyssey of the Seas, and it sits well aft. You are at the top of the passenger decks, so the pools and the open air are just up the stairs, and you feel the ship move more than anyone below you. You are well out towards the end of the hull, which is where pitching is felt hardest. We score it 5 out of 10 for steadiness.

On the ship's plan Windjammer Marketplace is two decks up, about 3 cabins along from you. A deck between you takes most of the noise out of it, and it is a short trip when you want it. Quiet comes out at 7 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about, 5 out of 10.

Counting from the bow, it is the 132nd cabin position of 173 along Deck 12. Deck 12 also has Adventure Ocean on it. There are 246 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a fairly ordinary length.

An Ocean View Balcony gives you 182-198 square feet. The balcony adds another 42-55 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Worth knowing before you book: Crown and Anchor pays one cruise point a night at this grade. A suite pays two, and so does sailing solo on a double occupancy fare, which is the cheaper of the two routes if you are travelling alone anyway. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes.
