Cabin 12692 is an Ocean View Balcony on Quantum of the Seas, 182 to 198 square feet plus a private balcony of 42 to 55 square feet.

Cabin 12692 is an Ocean View Balcony on Deck 12 of Quantum of the Seas, well aft. You are at the top of the passenger decks, so the pools and the open air are just up the stairs, and you feel the ship move more than anyone below you. This is a long way from the pivot, so a swell reaches you before it reaches anyone midship. This far aft you may also pick up a hum from the propellers, usually at night when the ship is making speed between ports. Some people never notice it, others find it soothing, a few cannot ignore it. We score it 5 out of 10 for steadiness.

Nothing sits close by: it is 17 cabins to Concierge Club, the nearest thing of its kind. Quiet, at the cost of a few minutes each way. The private lounge for suite guests and top tier Crown and Anchor members, aft on deck 12. Continental breakfast in the morning, hors d'oeuvres and a complimentary bar in the evening, with a concierge on duty morning and evening. Worth knowing: small and quiet, but it is on a cabin deck. Adjacent aft cabins hear the evening cocktail hour through the corridor, roughly 5pm to 8:30pm. Quiet comes out at 8 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about it is 4 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Counting from the bow, it is the 116th cabin position of 136 along Deck 12. Deck 12 also has Concierge Club and Adventure Ocean on it. There are 235 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a fairly ordinary length.

An Ocean View Balcony gives you 182-198 square feet. The balcony adds another 42-55 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

On loyalty, this is a standard grade, so Crown and Anchor credits its base one cruise point a night. There are exactly two ways to double that: move up to a suite, or sail on your own on a double occupancy fare. Either pays two a night, and doing both pays three. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is quieter than 92 per cent of the 2,099 cabins on board and further from the action than most. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.
