Cabin 13120 · Ovation of the Seas
Deck 13 · Royal Caribbean International
Cabin 13120 is an Ocean View Balcony on Ovation of the Seas, 182 to 198 square feet plus a private balcony of 42 to 55 square feet.
Cabin 13120 is an Ocean View Balcony on Deck 13 of Ovation of the Seas. You are far forward. Out at this end you feel the sea. In rough water the movement here is noticeably stronger. Right up in the bow, a head sea can send a shudder through the hull that midship guests never feel at all. We score it 4 out of 10 for steadiness.
You are 3 cabins from Solarium. Close enough to be useful, far enough that it should not keep you awake. The main level of the glass enclosed adults only Solarium, forward on deck 14. A tiered pool that cascades between levels, two large whirlpools, wicker daybeds, forward facing floor to ceiling windows and a 24 hour drinks station. Sixteen and over. Worth knowing: the quietest part of the pool deck, and the enclosure keeps most of it inside. Deck 13 forward cabins below get water features and chair movement rather than music. Quiet scores 3 out of 10. There is enough going on nearby that a light sleeper should think about it. For getting about, 7 out of 10.
Of the 146 cabin positions on Deck 13, this is the 2nd from forward. That puts you right at the forward end of the run, where the corridor stops and the footfall dies away. You share Deck 13 with Solarium. There are 227 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a fairly ordinary length.
The Ocean View Balcony grade runs 182-198 square feet. The balcony adds another 42-55 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.
Worth knowing before you book: Crown and Anchor pays one cruise point a night at this grade. A suite pays two, and so does sailing solo on a double occupancy fare, which is the cheaper of the two routes if you are travelling alone anyway. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.
Against the rest of the ship it is noisier than three quarters of the 2,142 cabins on board, livelier in a swell than most of them and better placed for getting around than 81 per cent of them. It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes and anyone who feels motion badly.
Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
