Cabin 13316 is an Ocean View Balcony on Odyssey of the Seas, 182 to 198 square feet plus a private balcony of 42 to 55 square feet.

Cabin 13316 is an Ocean View Balcony on Deck 13 of Odyssey of the Seas, and it sits well aft. You are at the top of the passenger decks, so the pools and the open air are just up the stairs, and you feel the ship move more than anyone below you. This is a long way from the pivot, so a swell reaches you before it reaches anyone midship. This far aft you may also pick up a hum from the propellers, usually at night when the ship is making speed between ports. Some people never notice it, others find it soothing, a few cannot ignore it. We score it 3 out of 10 for steadiness. If you are at all prone to seasickness, look elsewhere.

You are 5 cabins from Suite Lounge. Close enough to be useful, far enough that it should not keep you awake. The suite guests' lounge. It moved here midship on deck 14 in the April 2026 refit, taking the room that used to be the teen club, because the old deck 12 spot was thought too far out of the way. Grand Suite and above plus Pinnacle Club, with refreshments through the day and drinks in the evening. Worth knowing: quiet, and its arrival was a straight improvement for the deck 13 cabins below, since a teen club with a dance floor was replaced by a lounge. Quiet scores 5 out of 10. There is enough going on nearby that a light sleeper should think about it. For getting about, 7 out of 10.

Of the 143 cabin positions on Deck 13, this is the 140th from forward. You share Deck 13 with Suite Lounge. There are 219 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a fairly ordinary length.

The Ocean View Balcony grade runs 182-198 square feet. The balcony adds another 42-55 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Worth knowing before you book: Crown and Anchor pays one cruise point a night at this grade. A suite pays two, and so does sailing solo on a double occupancy fare, which is the cheaper of the two routes if you are travelling alone anyway. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is noisier than three quarters of the 2,110 cabins on board and livelier in a swell than most of them. It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes and anyone who feels motion badly.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
