Cabin 13702 is an Ocean View Balcony on Quantum of the Seas, 182 to 198 square feet plus a private balcony of 42 to 55 square feet.

Cabin 13702 is an Ocean View Balcony on Deck 13 of Quantum of the Seas, and it sits well aft. You are at the top of the passenger decks, so the pools and the open air are just up the stairs, and you feel the ship move more than anyone below you. Out at this end you feel the sea. In rough water the movement here is noticeably stronger. This far aft you may also pick up a hum from the propellers, usually at night when the ship is making speed between ports. Some people never notice it, others find it soothing, a few cannot ignore it. We score it 4 out of 10 for steadiness.

The nearest is Conference Center, and that is 11 cabins away down the corridor. Quiet, at the cost of a few minutes each way. The conference centre aft on deck 13, for up to 330 people, divided by collapsible walls into several rooms. Worth knowing: nothing on a normal leisure sailing. On a group charter it is daytime PA and applause over the deck 12 aft cabins, plus the rumble of the moving walls when the rooms are reconfigured. Quiet comes out at 7 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about, 5 out of 10.

Of the 133 cabin positions on Deck 13, this is the 123rd from forward. You share Deck 13 with Solarium and Conference Center. There are 219 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a fairly ordinary length.

The Ocean View Balcony grade runs 182-198 square feet. The balcony adds another 42-55 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

On loyalty, this is a standard grade, so Crown and Anchor credits its base one cruise point a night. There are exactly two ways to double that: move up to a suite, or sail on your own on a double occupancy fare. Either pays two a night, and doing both pays three. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is livelier in a swell than most of them. It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes and anyone who feels motion badly.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
