Cabin 14223 · Carnival Panorama

Cabin 14223 is a Cloud 9 Spa Interior (category 4T1) on Carnival Panorama, 158 to 185 square feet.

Cabin 14223 is a Cloud 9 Spa Interior on Deck 14 of Carnival Panorama. You are forward of midship. You are at the top of the passenger decks, so the pools and the open air are just up the stairs, and you feel the ship move more than anyone below you. You will feel a bit more motion than a midship cabin. Nothing dramatic. We score it 6 out of 10 for steadiness.

On the ship's plan the lift bank is on the deck above, about 5 cabins along from you. You will still walk to the stairs or the lift to reach it, so treat it as a landmark rather than a neighbour. We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 3 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Counting from the bow, it is the 10th cabin position of 22 along Deck 14. You are about as central as the corridor gets, so it is a similar walk whichever way you turn out of your door.

A Cloud 9 Spa Interior gives you 158-185 square feet. No window, which makes it the darkest and cheapest room on board and, for a lot of people, the best sleep they get all week. If waking to daylight matters to you, an ocean view is the smallest step up.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board and better placed for getting around than 83 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
