Cabin 14322Z · Resilient Lady
Deck 14 · Virgin Voyages
Cabin 14322Z is an XL Sea Terrace on Deck 14 of Resilient Lady, and it sits far forward. You are at the top of the passenger decks, so the pools and the open air are just up the stairs, and you feel the ship move more than anyone below you. Out at this end you feel the sea. In rough water the movement here is noticeably stronger. Right up in the bow, a head sea can send a shudder through the hull that midship guests never feel at all. We score it 5 out of 10 for steadiness.
The Tune Up sits on the deck above, roughly 10 cabins along the ship from you. A deck between you takes most of the noise out of it, and it is a short trip when you want it. We give it 9 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 4 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.
Of the 119 cabin positions on Deck 14, this is the 6th from forward.
The XL Sea Terrace grade runs 265.3-394.8 square feet. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.
Against the rest of the ship it is better placed for getting around than 79 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.
Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
