Cabin 14574 is a Connecting Ocean View Balcony on Oasis of the Seas, 182 to 198 square feet plus a private balcony of 42 to 55 square feet.

Cabin 14574 is a Connecting Ocean View Balcony on Deck 14 of Oasis of the Seas. You are forward of midship. You are far enough from the middle to notice a swell, but nowhere near the worst of it. We score it 6 out of 10 for steadiness.

You are practically next door to the forward lift bank, starboard, 2 cabins along. Nothing on board is a shorter walk. The price is footsteps past your door and the lift chiming at odd hours. Oasis of the Seas carries four lift banks on most decks, forward and aft, port and starboard. Each is a glass fronted lobby with call buttons, deck buttons and a landing that doubles as a meeting point. The forward banks serve the theatre and the suite decks, the aft banks serve the dining rooms and the Boardwalk. Worth knowing: the cars themselves are quiet. The lobby is not. What a cabin beside a lift bank actually hears is people waiting, talking and calling to each other, and it peaks at dinner sittings and again after the late show. Two or three cabins along the corridor is. Quiet scores 4 out of 10. There is enough going on nearby that a light sleeper should think about it. For getting about it scores 9 out of 10, so almost everything is a short walk.

Of the 154 cabin positions on Deck 14, this is the 40th from forward. You share Deck 14 with Royal Babies and Tots Nursery, Adventure Ocean and Royal Escape Room. There are 296 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a long walk end to end.

The Connecting Ocean View Balcony grade runs 182-198 square feet. The balcony adds another 42-55 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

On loyalty, this is a standard grade, so Crown and Anchor credits its base one cruise point a night. There are exactly two ways to double that: move up to a suite, or sail on your own on a double occupancy fare. Either pays two a night, and doing both pays three. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is noisier than three quarters of the 2,836 cabins on board and better placed for getting around than 96 per cent of them. It suits families running back to the cabin several times a day. It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
