Cabin 15079 · MSC World America

Cabin 15079 is a Deluxe Balcony on Deck 15 of MSC World America, midship. That is about as close to the ship's pivot point as you can get, and in a swell you will feel it less here than anywhere else on board. We score it 8 out of 10 for steadiness.

Quiet comes out at 8 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about it is 4 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Counting from the bow, it is the 48th cabin position of 147 along Deck 15.

A Deluxe Balcony gives you 161-183 square feet. The balcony adds another 32-65 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is steadier in a swell than 86 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers and travellers prone to seasickness. It is a poor fit for anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.
