Cabin 15156 · Spectrum of the Seas
Deck 15 · Royal Caribbean International
Cabin 15156 is an Ultimate Family Suite on Spectrum of the Seas. There is a double sofa bed.
Cabin 15156 is an Ultimate Family Suite on Deck 15 of Spectrum of the Seas. You are forward of midship. You are at the top of the passenger decks, so the pools and the open air are just up the stairs, and you feel the ship move more than anyone below you. You are far enough from the middle to notice a swell, but nowhere near the worst of it. We score it 6 out of 10 for steadiness.
You are practically next door to the forward lift bank, port, 2 cabins along. Nothing on board is a shorter walk. The price is footsteps past your door and the lift chiming at odd hours. Spectrum runs four lift banks on most decks, a port and starboard pair forward and another pair aft. Conventional lifts with call buttons in the lobby and deck buttons in the car. The suite enclave on decks 13 to 16 also has its own private lift. Worth knowing: the cars are quiet, the lobby is not. A cabin beside one hears doors, waiting conversation and footfall in the corridor, heaviest when a show lets out and after the late dinner seating. Quiet scores 3 out of 10. There is enough going on nearby that a light sleeper should think about it. For getting about it scores 9 out of 10, so almost everything is a short walk.
Of the 10 cabin positions on Deck 15, this is the 10th from forward. That puts you right at the aft end of the run, where the corridor stops and the footfall dies away. You share Deck 15 with Fuel Teen Disco, Rock Climbing Wall, Sky Pad and North Star Bar. There are 10 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is short and rarely busy.
It is booked as an Ultimate Family Suite. At suite level you are buying more than square feet. Suites almost always carry priority boarding and priority disembarkation, and the higher grades on most lines add a restaurant, a lounge or a sun deck of their own. Junior and entry level suites often get none of that, so it is worth checking what this particular grade includes rather than assuming the whole list comes with the word.
There is a loyalty argument for this room as well as a comfort one. Crown and Anchor counts a suite night as two cruise points against one for a standard room, so the same week aboard moves you up the tiers twice as fast. Book it solo at the double occupancy fare and it counts three a night. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.
Against the rest of the ship it is noisier than three quarters of the 2,142 cabins on board and as well placed for getting around as any cabin aboard. It suits families running back to the cabin several times a day. It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes.
Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
