Cabin 15224 · Carnival Celebration

Cabin 15224 is a Balcony (category 8F) on Carnival Celebration.

Cabin 15224 is a Balcony on Deck 15 of Carnival Celebration. You are far forward. Out at this end you feel the sea. In rough water the movement here is noticeably stronger. Right up in the bow, a head sea can send a shudder through the hull that midship guests never feel at all. We score it 3 out of 10 for steadiness. If you are at all prone to seasickness, look elsewhere.

You are practically next door to a stairwell, 0 cabins along. Nothing on board is a shorter walk. The price is footsteps past your door and the lift chiming at odd hours. We give it 9 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about, 6 out of 10.

Of the 144 cabin positions on Deck 15, this is the 6th from forward.

It is booked as a Balcony. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is livelier in a swell than most of them and better placed for getting around than 79 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who feels motion badly.
