Cabin 15229 · Carnival Celebration

Cabin 15229 is a Junior Balcony (category 7Y) on Carnival Celebration.

Cabin 15229 is a Junior Balcony on Deck 15 of Carnival Celebration. You are far forward. This is a long way from the pivot, so a swell reaches you before it reaches anyone midship. Right up in the bow, a head sea can send a shudder through the hull that midship guests never feel at all. We score it 4 out of 10 for steadiness.

You are all but on top of a stairwell, about 1 cabin away. Nothing on board is a shorter walk. The price is footsteps past your door and the lift chiming at odd hours. We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about, 5 out of 10.

Counting from the bow, it is the 7th cabin position of 144 along Deck 15.

It is booked as a Junior Balcony. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board and livelier in a swell than most of them. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who feels motion badly.
