Cabin 15705 · Carnival Adventure

Cabin 15705 is a Balcony (category GB1) on Carnival Adventure, 168 to 205 square feet plus a private balcony of 35 to 46 square feet.

Cabin 15705 is a Balcony on Deck 15 of Carnival Adventure, aft of midship. You are at the top of the passenger decks, so the pools and the open air are just up the stairs, and you feel the ship move more than anyone below you. You are far enough from the middle to notice a swell, but nowhere near the worst of it. We score it 6 out of 10 for steadiness.

Edge Adventure Park sits on the deck above, roughly 7 cabins along the ship from you. A deck between you takes most of the noise out of it, and it is a short trip when you want it. We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 2 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Of the 9 cabin positions on Deck 15, this is the 7th from forward. That puts you right at the aft end of the run, where the corridor stops and the footfall dies away.

The Balcony grade runs 168-205 square feet. The balcony adds another 35-46 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
