Cabin 17010 is a Grand Suite on Legend of the Seas. There is a double sofa bed.

Cabin 17010 is a Grand Suite on Deck 17 of Legend of the Seas. You are far forward. You are at the top of the passenger decks, so the pools and the open air are just up the stairs, and you feel the ship move more than anyone below you. This is a long way from the pivot, so a swell reaches you before it reaches anyone midship. Right up in the bow, a head sea can send a shudder through the hull that midship guests never feel at all. We score it 5 out of 10 for steadiness.

You are right beside Coastal Kitchen, some 2 cabins along the corridor. Handy, though worth knowing about if you sleep lightly. The suite guests restaurant, forward on decks 16 and 17. Table service breakfast, lunch and dinner, included for Sky Class and above. Worth knowing: access is by cabin category, not by booking. Deck 16 is the main level and deck 17 the quieter upper one. Quiet comes out at 6 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about, 5 out of 10.

Counting from the bow, it is the 7th cabin position of 17 along Deck 17. You are about as central as the corridor gets, so it is a similar walk whichever way you turn out of your door. Deck 17 also has Lime and Coconut, Coastal Kitchen, Cloud 17 Pool and Sports Court on it. There are 22 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is short and rarely busy.

It is booked as a Grand Suite. At suite level you are buying more than square feet. Suites almost always carry priority boarding and priority disembarkation, and the higher grades on most lines add a restaurant, a lounge or a sun deck of their own. Junior and entry level suites often get none of that, so it is worth checking what this particular grade includes rather than assuming the whole list comes with the word.

There is a loyalty argument for this room as well as a comfort one. Crown and Anchor counts a suite night as two cruise points against one for a standard room, so the same week aboard moves you up the tiers twice as fast. Book it solo at the double occupancy fare and it counts three a night. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes.
