Cabin 17233 is a Cloud 9 Spa Suite (category SS) on Carnival Celebration. There is a double sofa bed.

Cabin 17233 is a Cloud 9 Spa Suite on Deck 17 of Carnival Celebration. You are far forward. You are at the top of the passenger decks, so the pools and the open air are just up the stairs, and you feel the ship move more than anyone below you. You are well out towards the end of the hull, which is where pitching is felt hardest. Right up in the bow, a head sea can send a shudder through the hull that midship guests never feel at all. We score it 3 out of 10 for steadiness. If you are at all prone to seasickness, look elsewhere.

Nothing sits close by: it is 10 cabins to a stairwell, the nearest thing of its kind. That buys you quiet. It also means a proper walk with your bags on embarkation day. We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 4 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Counting from the bow, it is the 9th cabin position of 54 along Deck 17. Deck 17 also has RedFrog Tiki Bar, Guy's Burger Joint and Warehouse on it. There are 88 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is short and rarely busy.

It is booked as a Cloud 9 Spa Suite. At suite level you are buying more than square feet. Suites almost always carry priority boarding and priority disembarkation, and the higher grades on most lines add a restaurant, a lounge or a sun deck of their own. Junior and entry level suites often get none of that, so it is worth checking what this particular grade includes rather than assuming the whole list comes with the word.

A word on loyalty, because the grade misleads people here. Carnival Rewards replaced VIFP on 1 September 2026 and it counts what you spend, not the nights you sail or the room you book, so this suite earns at the same rate per dollar as an interior does. What the grade buys you is the room and the service, not faster status. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board, livelier in a swell than most of them and further from the action than most. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who feels motion badly and anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
