Cabin 18018 · MSC World America

Cabin 18018 is an MSC Yacht Club Deluxe Suite on Deck 18 of MSC World America. You are far forward. This is a long way from the pivot, so a swell reaches you before it reaches anyone midship. We score it 5 out of 10 for steadiness.

You are 5 cabins from the forward starboard lift bank. Close enough to be useful, far enough that it should not keep you awake. Quiet comes out at 8 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about, 7 out of 10.

Of the 37 cabin positions on Deck 18, this is the 28th from forward. You share Deck 18 with Botanic Garden Pool, La Plage, Il Mercato Buffet (port) and Il Mercato Buffet (starboard). There are 54 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is short and rarely busy.

The MSC Yacht Club Deluxe Suite grade runs 237-323 square feet. The balcony adds another 43-86 on top of that. At suite level you are buying more than square feet. Suites almost always carry priority boarding and priority disembarkation, and the higher grades on most lines add a restaurant, a lounge or a sun deck of their own. Junior and entry level suites often get none of that, so it is worth checking what this particular grade includes rather than assuming the whole list comes with the word.

MSC counts Voyagers Club points by experience rather than by night, and Yacht Club is the top rung: 800 points for a sailing under five nights, 1,500 for five to nine and 2,000 for ten or more, against 200, 500 and 700 down at Bella. They are credited per person, not per cabin, and a free upgrade does not lift you, so you earn on the experience you actually booked. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is better placed for getting around than 82 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers.
