Cabin 2324 · Carnival Conquest

Cabin 2324 is an Ocean View (category 6C1) on Carnival Conquest, 158 to 243 square feet.

Cabin 2324 is an Ocean View on Deck 2, the Main deck, of Carnival Conquest, and it sits midship. You are near the bottom of the passenger decks, which is the steadiest place to be, though it is a fair climb to the open air. That is about as close to the ship's pivot point as you can get, and in a swell you will feel it less here than anywhere else on board. We score it 9 out of 10 for steadiness, which puts it among the calmest rooms on the ship.

Toulouse-Lautrec sits on the deck above, roughly 2 cabins along the ship from you. A deck between you takes most of the noise out of it, and it is a short trip when you want it. We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 4 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Of the 149 cabin positions on Deck 2, this is the 65th from forward. You are about as central as the corridor gets, so it is a similar walk whichever way you turn out of your door.

The Ocean View grade runs 158-243 square feet. You get daylight and a sense of where you are without paying balcony money. The window does not open, so it is the view but not the air.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board, as steady in a swell as any cabin on the ship and better placed for getting around than 83 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers and travellers prone to seasickness. It is a poor fit for anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.
