Cabin 2427 is an Interior on Deck 2 of Liberty of the Seas. You are aft of midship. You are near the bottom of the passenger decks, which is the steadiest place to be, though it is a fair climb to the open air. You will feel a bit more motion than a midship cabin. Nothing dramatic. We score it 9 out of 10 for steadiness, which puts it among the calmest rooms on the ship.

It is 6 cabins along the corridor to Loyalty Desk. Close enough to be useful, far enough that it should not keep you awake. The Crown and Anchor Society desk, staffed by the loyalty ambassador for tier questions, points and member events. It moved to the deck 2 aft lift lobby in the 2026 refit, so older deck plans put it elsewhere. Worth knowing: daytime hours only, closed in the evening. The one busy moment is the first sea day morning, when the queue forms across the lift lobby. Quiet comes out at 6 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about it scores 9 out of 10, so almost everything is a short walk.

Counting from the bow, it is the 75th cabin position of 153 along Deck 2. You are about as central as the corridor gets, so it is a similar walk whichever way you turn out of your door. Deck 2 also has Platinum Theatre, Studio B Ice Rink and Loyalty Desk on it. There are 197 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a fairly ordinary length.

An Interior gives you 162 square feet. No window, which makes it the darkest and cheapest room on board and, for a lot of people, the best sleep they get all week. If waking to daylight matters to you, an ocean view is the smallest step up.

Worth knowing before you book: Crown and Anchor pays one cruise point a night at this grade. A suite pays two, and so does sailing solo on a double occupancy fare, which is the cheaper of the two routes if you are travelling alone anyway. Against the rest of the ship it is as steady in a swell as any cabin on the ship and better placed for getting around than 96 per cent of them. It suits travellers prone to seasickness and families running back to the cabin several times a day. It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes.
