Cabin 3542 is an Ocean View (category 3N/4N) on Liberty of the Seas, 162 square feet, with a half-moon ocean view window. It sleeps up to 3. The bathroom has a shower.

Cabin 3542 is an Ocean View on Deck 3 of Liberty of the Seas, far forward. You are near the bottom of the passenger decks, which is the steadiest place to be, though it is a fair climb to the open air. This is a long way from the pivot, so a swell reaches you before it reaches anyone midship. We score it 6 out of 10 for steadiness.

It is 5 cabins along the corridor to the forward lift bank, port. Close enough to be useful, far enough that it should not keep you awake. The forward lift lobby. Liberty of the Seas carries four lift banks on most decks, a port and starboard pair forward and another pair aft, so few cabins sit more than half a corridor from one. These are conventional lifts, with call buttons in the lobby and deck buttons inside the car. Worth knowing: the cars are quiet. The lobby is not. A cabin beside one hears doors, waiting conversation and footfall in the corridor, heaviest when a show lets out and at the start and end of a port day. Quiet scores 5 out of 10. There is enough going on nearby that a light sleeper should think about it. For getting about it scores 9 out of 10, so almost everything is a short walk.

Counting from the bow, it is the 2nd cabin position of 81 along Deck 3. That puts you right at the forward end of the run, where the corridor stops and the footfall dies away. Deck 3 also has Platinum Theatre, Studio B Ice Rink, Photo Gallery and Shore Excursions and Art Gallery on it. There are 118 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is short and rarely busy.

An Ocean View gives you 162 square feet. You get daylight and a sense of where you are without paying balcony money. The window does not open, so it is the view but not the air.

On loyalty, this is a standard grade, so Crown and Anchor credits its base one cruise point a night. There are exactly two ways to double that: move up to a suite, or sail on your own on a double occupancy fare. Either pays two a night, and doing both pays three. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is better placed for getting around than 96 per cent of them. It suits families running back to the cabin several times a day. It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
