Cabin 4373 · Carnival Celebration

Cabin 4373 is an Ocean View (category 6A) on Carnival Celebration.

Cabin 4373 is an Ocean View on Deck 4 of Carnival Celebration. You are forward of midship. You are near the bottom of the passenger decks, which is the steadiest place to be, though it is a fair climb to the open air. You will feel a bit more motion than a midship cabin. Nothing dramatic. We score it 8 out of 10 for steadiness.

You are practically next door to the lift bank, 2 cabins along. Nothing on board is a shorter walk. The price is footsteps past your door and the lift chiming at odd hours. Quiet comes out at 7 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about it is 4 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Of the 148 cabin positions on Deck 4, this is the 56th from forward. You share Deck 4 with Family Harbor Lounge, Camp Ocean and Dr. Seuss Bookville. There are 259 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a fairly ordinary length.

It is booked as an Ocean View. You get daylight and a sense of where you are without paying balcony money. The window does not open, so it is the view but not the air.

Against the rest of the ship it is noisier than three quarters of the 2,681 cabins on board, steadier in a swell than 94 per cent of them and further from the action than most. It suits travellers prone to seasickness. It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes and anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
