Cabin 4385 · Carnival Jubilee

Cabin 4385 is an Ocean View (category 6A) on Carnival Jubilee.

Cabin 4385 is an Ocean View on Deck 4 of Carnival Jubilee, and it sits aft of midship. You are near the bottom of the passenger decks, which is the steadiest place to be, though it is a fair climb to the open air. You are far enough from the middle to notice a swell, but nowhere near the worst of it. We score it 9 out of 10 for steadiness, which puts it among the calmest rooms on the ship.

You are practically next door to the lift bank, 2 cabins along. Nothing on board is a shorter walk. The price is footsteps past your door and the lift chiming at odd hours. We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 4 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Of the 186 cabin positions on Deck 4, this is the 113th from forward. You are about as central as the corridor gets, so it is a similar walk whichever way you turn out of your door. You share Deck 4 with Family Harbor Lounge, Camp Ocean and Dr. Seuss Bookville. There are 259 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a fairly ordinary length.

It is booked as an Ocean View. You get daylight and a sense of where you are without paying balcony money. The window does not open, so it is the view but not the air.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board and as steady in a swell as any cabin on the ship. It suits light sleepers and travellers prone to seasickness. It is a poor fit for anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
