Cabin 5211 · Carnival Miracle

Cabin 5211 is a Balcony (category 8C1) on Carnival Miracle, 168 to 205 square feet plus a private balcony of 35 to 46 square feet.

Cabin 5211 is a Balcony on Deck 5, the Upper deck, of Carnival Miracle, and it sits aft of midship. You will feel a bit more motion than a midship cabin. Nothing dramatic. We score it 8 out of 10 for steadiness.

On the ship's plan Way Promenade Kane's Upper is two decks down, about 5 cabins along from you. A deck between you takes most of the noise out of it, and it is a short trip when you want it. We give it 9 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 4 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Counting from the bow, it is the 55th cabin position of 94 along Deck 5. You are about as central as the corridor gets, so it is a similar walk whichever way you turn out of your door.

A Balcony gives you 168-205 square feet. The balcony adds another 35-46 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is steadier in a swell than 88 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers and travellers prone to seasickness. It is a poor fit for anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.
