Cabin 5233 · Carnival Luminosa

Cabin 5233 is a Balcony on Carnival Luminosa, 185 to 237 square feet.

Cabin 5233 is a Balcony on Deck 5 of Carnival Luminosa, and it sits far forward. This is a long way from the pivot, so a swell reaches you before it reaches anyone midship. Right up in the bow, a head sea can send a shudder through the hull that midship guests never feel at all. We score it 5 out of 10 for steadiness.

On the ship's plan a stairwell is on the deck above, about 1 cabin along from you. You will still walk to the stairs or the lift to reach it, so treat it as a landmark rather than a neighbour. We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about, 6 out of 10.

Counting from the bow, it is the 22nd cabin position of 171 along Deck 5.

A Balcony gives you 185-237 square feet. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board and livelier in a swell than most of them. It suits light sleepers.
