Cabin 5255 · Carnival Luminosa

Cabin 5255 is a Balcony on Carnival Luminosa, 185 to 237 square feet.

Cabin 5255 is a Balcony on Deck 5 of Carnival Luminosa. You are forward of midship. You are far enough from the middle to notice a swell, but nowhere near the worst of it. We score it 6 out of 10 for steadiness.

It is 4 cabins along the corridor to the lift bank. Close enough to be useful, far enough that it should not keep you awake. We give it 9 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 4 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Counting from the bow, it is the 40th cabin position of 171 along Deck 5.

A Balcony gives you 185-237 square feet. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is further from the action than most. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.
