Cabin 5348 · Carnival Celebration

Cabin 5348 is a Cove Balcony (category 7C) on Carnival Celebration.

Cabin 5348 is a Cove Balcony on Deck 5 of Carnival Celebration, and it sits forward of midship. You are near the bottom of the passenger decks, which is the steadiest place to be, though it is a fair climb to the open air. You will feel a bit more motion than a midship cabin. Nothing dramatic. We score it 8 out of 10 for steadiness.

You are 5 cabins from the lift bank. Close enough to be useful, far enough that it should not keep you awake. Quiet comes out at 8 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about, 5 out of 10.

Of the 81 cabin positions on Deck 5, this is the 42nd from forward. You are about as central as the corridor gets, so it is a similar walk whichever way you turn out of your door. You share Deck 5 with Spa Treatment Rooms, Thermal Suites, Cloud 9 Spa and Salon. There are 285 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a long walk end to end.

It is booked as a Cove Balcony. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is noisier than three quarters of the 2,681 cabins on board and steadier in a swell than 94 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers and travellers prone to seasickness.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
