Cabin 5386 · Carnival Luminosa

Cabin 5386 is a Balcony on Carnival Luminosa, 185 to 237 square feet.

Cabin 5386 is a Balcony on Deck 5 of Carnival Luminosa, and it sits aft of midship. There is some movement here, more than midship and a good deal less than the ends. Most people never think about it. We score it 6 out of 10 for steadiness.

On the ship's plan a stairwell is on the deck below, about 1 cabin along from you. You will still walk to the stairs or the lift to reach it, so treat it as a landmark rather than a neighbour. We give it 9 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about, 7 out of 10.

Counting from the bow, it is the 157th cabin position of 171 along Deck 5.

A Balcony gives you 185-237 square feet. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is better placed for getting around than 83 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers.
