Cabin 5425 · Carnival Celebration

Cabin 5425 is a Cove Balcony (category 7C) on Carnival Celebration.

Cabin 5425 is a Cove Balcony on Deck 5 of Carnival Celebration, and it sits midship. You are near the bottom of the passenger decks, which is the steadiest place to be, though it is a fair climb to the open air. This is the steady part of the ship. When it gets lumpy, midship is where you want to be. We score it 9 out of 10 for steadiness, which puts it among the calmest rooms on the ship.

It is 6 cabins along the corridor to the lift bank. Close enough to be useful, far enough that it should not keep you awake. Quiet comes out at 8 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about it is 4 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Counting from the bow, it is the 55th cabin position of 81 along Deck 5. Deck 5 also has Spa Treatment Rooms, Thermal Suites, Cloud 9 Spa and Salon on it. There are 285 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a long walk end to end.

It is booked as a Cove Balcony. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is noisier than three quarters of the 2,681 cabins on board, as steady in a swell as any cabin on the ship and further from the action than most. It suits light sleepers and travellers prone to seasickness. It is a poor fit for anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
