Cabin 6348 · Carnival Luminosa

Cabin 6348 is a Balcony on Carnival Luminosa, 185 to 237 square feet.

Cabin 6348 is a Balcony on Deck 6 of Carnival Luminosa, midship. That is about as close to the ship's pivot point as you can get, and in a swell you will feel it less here than anywhere else on board. We score it 8 out of 10 for steadiness.

On the ship's plan a stairwell is on the deck above, about 2 cabins along from you. You will still walk to the stairs or the lift to reach it, so treat it as a landmark rather than a neighbour. We give it 9 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about, 7 out of 10.

Counting from the bow, it is the 108th cabin position of 172 along Deck 6. Deck 6 also has Pool on it. There are 227 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a fairly ordinary length.

A Balcony gives you 185-237 square feet. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is steadier in a swell than 89 per cent of them and better placed for getting around than 83 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers and travellers prone to seasickness.
