Cabin 6381 · Carnival Valor

Cabin 6381 is an Interior (category 4E1) on Carnival Valor, 149 to 185 square feet.

Cabin 6381 is an Interior on Deck 6, the Upper deck, of Carnival Valor. You are midship. That is about as close to the ship's pivot point as you can get, and in a swell you will feel it less here than anywhere else on board. We score it 9 out of 10 for steadiness, which puts it among the calmest rooms on the ship.

On the ship's plan Fun Shops is on the deck below, about 1 cabin along from you. A deck between you takes most of the noise out of it, and it is a short trip when you want it. We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 4 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Counting from the bow, it is the 87th cabin position of 173 along Deck 6. You are about as central as the corridor gets, so it is a similar walk whichever way you turn out of your door.

An Interior gives you 149-185 square feet. No window, which makes it the darkest and cheapest room on board and, for a lot of people, the best sleep they get all week. If waking to daylight matters to you, an ocean view is the smallest step up.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board, steadier in a swell than 98 per cent of them and better placed for getting around than 80 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers and travellers prone to seasickness. It is a poor fit for anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.
