Cabin 6398 · Carnival Dream

Cabin 6398 is a Balcony (category 8B) on Carnival Dream.

Cabin 6398 is a Balcony on Deck 6, the Upper deck, of Carnival Dream. You are midship. This is the steady part of the ship. When it gets lumpy, midship is where you want to be. We score it 8 out of 10 for steadiness.

On the ship's plan Cherry On Top is on the deck below, about 2 cabins along from you. A deck between you takes most of the noise out of it, and it is a short trip when you want it. We give it 9 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about, 5 out of 10.

Counting from the bow, it is the 146th cabin position of 220 along Deck 6.

It is booked as a Balcony. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is steadier in a swell than 82 per cent of them and better placed for getting around than 96 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers and travellers prone to seasickness.
