Cabin 6418 · Carnival Magic

Cabin 6418 is a Balcony (category 8B) on Carnival Magic.

Cabin 6418 is a Balcony on Deck 6 of Carnival Magic, and it sits aft of midship. You will feel a bit more motion than a midship cabin. Nothing dramatic. We score it 6 out of 10 for steadiness.

Hat Trick Casino sits on the deck below, roughly 8 cabins along the ship from you. A deck between you takes most of the noise out of it, and it is a short trip when you want it. We give it 9 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about, 5 out of 10.

Of the 171 cabin positions on Deck 6, this is the 137th from forward.

The Balcony grade runs 168-205 square feet. The balcony adds another 35-46 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is better placed for getting around than 85 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers.
