Cabin 6419 · Carnival Horizon

Cabin 6419 is a Balcony (category 8B) on Carnival Horizon.

Cabin 6419 is a Balcony on Deck 6 of Carnival Horizon, well aft. Out at this end you feel the sea. In rough water the movement here is noticeably stronger. We score it 6 out of 10 for steadiness.

On the ship's plan Casino is two decks down, about 5 cabins along from you. A deck between you takes most of the noise out of it, and it is a short trip when you want it. We give it 9 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 2 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Counting from the bow, it is the 123rd cabin position of 147 along Deck 6.

It is booked as a Balcony. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is noisier than three quarters of the 1,972 cabins on board. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.
