Cabin 6473 · Carnival Horizon

Cabin 6473 is a Havana Interior (category HA1) on Carnival Horizon, 185 square feet.

Cabin 6473 is a Havana Interior on Deck 6 of Carnival Horizon. You are well aft. Out at this end you feel the sea. In rough water the movement here is noticeably stronger. This far aft you may also pick up a hum from the propellers, usually at night when the ship is making speed between ports. Some people never notice it, others find it soothing, a few cannot ignore it. We score it 2 out of 10 for steadiness. If you are at all prone to seasickness, look elsewhere.

On the ship's plan Ord Heroes Cod Tribute Crd Bar is two decks down, about 4 cabins along from you. A deck between you takes most of the noise out of it, and it is a short trip when you want it. We give it 9 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about, 5 out of 10.

Counting from the bow, it is the 146th cabin position of 147 along Deck 6. That puts you right at the aft end of the run, where the corridor stops and the footfall dies away.

A Havana Interior gives you 185 square feet. No window, which makes it the darkest and cheapest room on board and, for a lot of people, the best sleep they get all week. If waking to daylight matters to you, an ocean view is the smallest step up.

Against the rest of the ship it is noisier than three quarters of the 1,972 cabins on board, livelier in a swell than most of them and better placed for getting around than 97 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who feels motion badly.
