Cabin 7211 · Carnival Spirit

Cabin 7211 is an Interior (category 4E1) on Carnival Spirit, 149 to 185 square feet.

Cabin 7211 is an Interior on Deck 7, the Verandah deck, of Carnival Spirit, forward of midship. You are at the top of the passenger decks, so the pools and the open air are just up the stairs, and you feel the ship move more than anyone below you. You are far enough from the middle to notice a swell, but nowhere near the worst of it. We score it 8 out of 10 for steadiness.

Beauty Classique Salon sits two decks up, roughly 8 cabins along the ship from you. A deck between you takes most of the noise out of it, and it is a short trip when you want it. We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 2 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Of the 124 cabin positions on Deck 7, this is the 57th from forward. You are about as central as the corridor gets, so it is a similar walk whichever way you turn out of your door.

The Interior grade runs 149-185 square feet. No window, which makes it the darkest and cheapest room on board and, for a lot of people, the best sleep they get all week. If waking to daylight matters to you, an ocean view is the smallest step up.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board, steadier in a swell than 88 per cent of them and further from the action than most. It suits light sleepers and travellers prone to seasickness. It is a poor fit for anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.
