Cabin 7225 · Carnival Luminosa

Cabin 7225 is a Balcony on Carnival Luminosa, 185 to 237 square feet.

Cabin 7225 is a Balcony on Deck 7 of Carnival Luminosa. You are far forward. You are at the top of the passenger decks, so the pools and the open air are just up the stairs, and you feel the ship move more than anyone below you. You are well out towards the end of the hull, which is where pitching is felt hardest. Right up in the bow, a head sea can send a shudder through the hull that midship guests never feel at all. We score it 4 out of 10 for steadiness.

It is 8 cabins along the corridor to a stairwell. Close enough to be useful, far enough that it should not keep you awake. We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it scores 9 out of 10, so almost everything is a short walk.

Counting from the bow, it is the 16th cabin position of 163 along Deck 7. Deck 7 also has Pool on it. There are 185 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a fairly ordinary length.

A Balcony gives you 185-237 square feet. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board, livelier in a swell than most of them and as well placed for getting around as any cabin aboard. It suits light sleepers and families running back to the cabin several times a day. It is a poor fit for anyone who feels motion badly.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
