Cabin 7248 · Carnival Luminosa

Cabin 7248 is a Balcony on Carnival Luminosa, 185 to 237 square feet.

Cabin 7248 is a Balcony on Deck 7 of Carnival Luminosa, far forward. You are at the top of the passenger decks, so the pools and the open air are just up the stairs, and you feel the ship move more than anyone below you. You are well out towards the end of the hull, which is where pitching is felt hardest. We score it 5 out of 10 for steadiness.

You are practically next door to a stairwell, 2 cabins along. Nothing on board is a shorter walk. The price is footsteps past your door and the lift chiming at odd hours. We give it 9 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about, 7 out of 10.

Of the 163 cabin positions on Deck 7, this is the 38th from forward. You share Deck 7 with Pool. There are 185 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a fairly ordinary length.

The Balcony grade runs 185-237 square feet. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is livelier in a swell than most of them and better placed for getting around than 83 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers.

Scored by Cruise Ship Wiki using model v1.8, from the position of this cabin relative to every public space on the ship. Each part is out of 10.
