Cabin 7291 · Carnival Luminosa

Cabin 7291 is a Balcony on Carnival Luminosa, 185 to 237 square feet.

Cabin 7291 is a Balcony on Deck 7 of Carnival Luminosa, forward of midship. You are at the top of the passenger decks, so the pools and the open air are just up the stairs, and you feel the ship move more than anyone below you. You will feel a bit more motion than a midship cabin. Nothing dramatic. We score it 7 out of 10 for steadiness.

You are practically next door to a stairwell, 1 cabin along. Nothing on board is a shorter walk. The price is footsteps past your door and the lift chiming at odd hours. We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about, 6 out of 10.

Of the 163 cabin positions on Deck 7, this is the 92nd from forward. You are about as central as the corridor gets, so it is a similar walk whichever way you turn out of your door. You share Deck 7 with Pool. There are 185 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a fairly ordinary length.

The Balcony grade runs 185-237 square feet. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board. It suits light sleepers.
