Cabin 7349 · Carnival Luminosa

Cabin 7349 is a Balcony on Carnival Luminosa, 185 to 237 square feet.

Cabin 7349 is a Balcony on Deck 7 of Carnival Luminosa, midship. You are at the top of the passenger decks, so the pools and the open air are just up the stairs, and you feel the ship move more than anyone below you. You are near the middle of the hull, where the ship does the least moving. In rough water that matters more than most people expect. We score it 8 out of 10 for steadiness.

It is 4 cabins along the corridor to a stairwell. Close enough to be useful, far enough that it should not keep you awake. We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about, 5 out of 10.

Counting from the bow, it is the 117th cabin position of 163 along Deck 7. Deck 7 also has Pool on it. There are 185 cabins along this deck, so the corridor is a fairly ordinary length.

A Balcony gives you 185-237 square feet. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board and steadier in a swell than 89 per cent of them. It suits light sleepers and travellers prone to seasickness.
