Cabin 7608 · Ovation of the Seas

Cabin 7608 is an Ocean View Balcony on Ovation of the Seas, 182 to 198 square feet plus a private balcony of 42 to 55 square feet.

Cabin 7608 is an Ocean View Balcony on Deck 7 of Ovation of the Seas, midship. You are near the middle of the hull, where the ship does the least moving. In rough water that matters more than most people expect. We score it 9 out of 10 for steadiness, which puts it among the calmest rooms on the ship.

On the ship's plan Izumi Teppanyaki is two decks down, about 1 cabin along from you. A deck between you takes most of the noise out of it, and it is a short trip when you want it. Quiet comes out at 7 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about, 5 out of 10.

Counting from the bow, it is the 69th cabin position of 134 along Deck 7. You are about as central as the corridor gets, so it is a similar walk whichever way you turn out of your door.

An Ocean View Balcony gives you 182-198 square feet. The balcony adds another 42-55 on top of that. A balcony buys you outside space of your own and, on sea days, somewhere to sit that is not the pool deck. It is the step up most people make, and the one they find hardest to give up again.

Worth knowing before you book: Crown and Anchor pays one cruise point a night at this grade. A suite pays two, and so does sailing solo on a double occupancy fare, which is the cheaper of the two routes if you are travelling alone anyway. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is as steady in a swell as any cabin on the ship. It suits travellers prone to seasickness. It is a poor fit for anyone who wakes when a door closes.
