Cabin 7709 is an Interior with Virtual Balcony on Deck 7 of Anthem of the Seas. You are well aft. This is a long way from the pivot, so a swell reaches you before it reaches anyone midship. This far aft you may also pick up a hum from the propellers, usually at night when the ship is making speed between ports. Some people never notice it, others find it soothing, a few cannot ignore it. We score it 5 out of 10 for steadiness.

On the ship's plan Library is on the deck below, about 4 cabins along from you. A deck between you takes most of the noise out of it, and it is a short trip when you want it. Quiet comes out at 8 out of 10, roughly par for this ship. For getting about, 5 out of 10.

Counting from the bow, it is the 123rd cabin position of 133 along Deck 7.

An Interior with Virtual Balcony gives you 150-172 square feet. No window, which makes it the darkest and cheapest room on board and, for a lot of people, the best sleep they get all week. If waking to daylight matters to you, an ocean view is the smallest step up.

Worth knowing before you book: Crown and Anchor pays one cruise point a night at this grade. A suite pays two, and so does sailing solo on a double occupancy fare, which is the cheaper of the two routes if you are travelling alone anyway. Checked against the line's own published terms on 8 September 2026.

Against the rest of the ship it is quieter than 88 per cent of the 2,102 cabins on board. It suits light sleepers.
