Cabin 8114 · Carnival Adventure

Cabin 8114 is an Ocean View (Obstructed View) (category 5A1) on Carnival Adventure, 158 to 243 square feet.

Cabin 8114 is an Ocean View (Obstructed View) on Deck 8 of Carnival Adventure. You are far forward. Out at this end you feel the sea. In rough water the movement here is noticeably stronger. Right up in the bow, a head sea can send a shudder through the hull that midship guests never feel at all. We score it 5 out of 10 for steadiness.

On the ship's plan Theatre Marquee is on the deck below, about 31 cabins along from you. A deck between you takes most of the noise out of it, and it is a short trip when you want it. We give it 10 out of 10 for quiet, which is about as peaceful as this ship gets. For getting about it is 1 out of 10, so add a few minutes to everywhere you go.

Counting from the bow, it is the 8th cabin position of 135 along Deck 8.

An Ocean View (Obstructed View) gives you 158-243 square feet. You get daylight and a sense of where you are without paying balcony money. The window does not open, so it is the view but not the air.

Against the rest of the ship it is as quiet as anything on board and further from the action than most. It suits light sleepers. It is a poor fit for anyone who finds long corridors and stairs hard work.
